Blinded Freedom <> RimRock Ranch
For some reason, the horses that we had have all disappeared. There are not nearly as many tame horses as there u sed to be. Almost every person in RimRock owned a horse. A tame one. They rode them every day and took care of them. And the horses loved it. They would never leave the safety of their home. But now, they were all gone. Only a few lesson ho rs es had stayed. No one knows where the rest went. Everyone in RimRock was heartbroken. The kids and their ponies were n o m ore. The town was empty.
As the people got together to try and figure this all out, the wild horses, who lived nearby, were living like they a lways had. To them, there was nothing wrong. The people of the town decided that there was no possible way to live in to w n without horses. Since there were wild horses not too far from where the town was, they decided that the only option t he y had was to capture the wild horses and tame them. There was no other way to own horses. It would be a challenge. Sin ce there were only a few wranglers in town, and a few trainers, everyone knew it would be a while before they could get on t he back of a horse again. But to them, it was worth it.
So the wranglers borrowed the few lesson horses that were left, and they rode them off into the wild lands. They had their lassos and their cowboy hats and they were prepared for the hard work that they had ahead. But for the town, it wa s worth it. At least, they thought so. Meanwhile the wild horses had no idea what was about to happen. As a mare grazed in the Sphinx Plain, a gang of three or four wranglers came charging toward her, and before she knew it she was tangled in rope being dragged to town.
So now it's a story of survival. While some horses get captured and enjoy it, others are worried and scared and refus e to do anything for these strange creatures. Some tame horses wish to go to the wild after hearing stories from the wil d horses that were captured. Meanwhile, the humans are trying their best to train these wild horses to be rideable so th at the town would be happy again. But will it ever be?
