Watching her teacher, Ms. Linger turn on the television, that was overly outdated, Gabi forced herself to look at the dark haired, split end mess in front of her. For a girl, she sure didn't look like one. A bad haircut probably, and maybe some plucking of the eyebrows, some extentsions, and she could be pretty. Gabi sighed and turned her head with it rested on her hand, looking out the window. It was raining. Great. Rain was not a thing to make Gabi happy in the least. It drizzled off the roof, and into the window. Sighing again, Gabi turned to the rest of the classroom. Some girls and boys were drawing on the tables, some were playing with their hair, and others were on their phones. There was at least two others she saw, and noticed the light yellow screen, so they must be on the schools instant messanger. Gabi whipped out her cell phone and connected to the internet, immediatly sending a message.

Dane lounged at her desk and let her eyes flutter shut, her head faced away from the rest of the classroom, from the world. Her hands lay folded anemically by her pink sidekick in her lap.
Mr. Carlson sat with his feet up and a large newspaper across his chest. His bald head rolled back on his shoulders and his mouth drooped open. Disgusting. Denali was unsure if this was even responsible for a teacher to fall asleep after a large French final. Hell maybe even she could fall asleep.
She listened to all the indefinite human sounds, the shuffling of papers, the scratching of jagged pencil tips across thin cheap notebook paper. There is some snickering and blowing of noses. The sidekick still lay lifeless in her lap. She scooted down secretively in her chair and flipped it open, instantly she was connected to RERA.net.

Gabi giggled at the sight of the fellow student's screen name. Lov? Who would have that? I mean, love, luv, lstuff like that, but why lov? It had no or little point. Anyway, Gabi was too bored to argue, so her two thumbs scaned across her purple cased Sidekick and smiled.

Gabi lifted her chin to glance at Ms. Linger at the front of the classroom, but there was little to no chance that she would ever know that Gabi was texting. This teacher was so oblivious that it killed her. She smiled and looked back at her cell phone. There was no new messages, so she buzzed her instead.

The massage silently popped onto the screen. Dane smiled and let her thumbs float only just above the key pad.
She sketched the room quickly. A tiny blond girl she never remembered snickered as she crouched over her test like it was a piece of precious meat. A sharp paper air plane tore through the humid thin air. Did she never notice this before? The room had the unexcapeable fume of stale cheese-nips a stain on the carpet that freakishly resembled a cat with one eye.
