sky lark terrace ---------------------------------------//------------ [/i] the one inch studs on his belt had dug in to his tailbone and he rubbed his back while he stood up, deciding he'd better get his butt down in the stable to feed the horses and make it up to them for missing a whole afternoon of riding. okay, well it was really a whole day. sky shook his head in dismay, trying to rid his eyes of the clouds that impaired his vision. he walked over to the hatch he'd climbed up through, and found that there was no ladder. someone must have folded it back up to the ceiling. sky sighed, his handsome face twisting as he pursed his lips into a pout and furrowed his brow. it had been a funny little habit he'd had since he was a kid, and it was actually really cute. hmm. now how'd he get down now. he could jump, but that would scare the crap out of the horses to have a random guy jumping out of a ceiling. horses were spooky enough. he heard footsteps in the barn. hmm, maybe someone would pass him the ladder. he leaned over the edge of the hole, and just as the person walked beneath the trapdoor, sky's foot sent a heavy flake of hay tumbling down from the loft. the flake seemed to fall in slow motion before falling with a dull thud on the person's head just before they walked under. "Uhh- oops!" sky called down as the hay tumbled down the person's shoulders. hopefully they'd still be willing to get the ladder and take him down from there. Nattalia Greene
Nattalia Greene walked along the white fences that lined the paddocks filled with horses. It was early summer and the day was gorgeous. The trees were blowing gently in the breeze while the horses continued to graze and play in the fields. The sun was high and hot, though it was nearly four o’clock, and the breeze really did little to help that. There were blacks and bays and dapples and grey running back and forth in the fields. Natt continued to walk along the fence line. While she walked she took many pictures of all of the school ponies and boarded horses. She snapped a picture of a horse that looked like hers back when she was little. Now eighteen she was on her own at Rivers Edge. She did own her own horse and was happy about that. There was a large oak up ahead that she sat down beside and continued to take pictures of the beautiful horses.
It was a little later that she decided that she might as well go to the barn and see her horse. Moonsong was her favourite horse in the world. She meant the world to her. She walked towards the barn where her horse was stabled. When she got there she walked right inside and towards Moons stall. Before even giving her a pat she took her camera and took and picture of her beautiful horse. She was dosing in the late afternoon sun and seemed to be enjoying it very much. She leaned on th door and clucked her tongue so the mare would walk forwards. She did and when she had her head over the door, Natt gave her a big hug. Natt backed the mare up and pulled the bolt back to the door. She grabbed her halter and lead rope before going inside. A through grooming would do her good.
The dappled-grey mare stood nicely in the cross ties while Natt got her tack box from the tack room. When she got back she started to groom the mare. It took a total of an hour and ten minutes to groom the dirty mare. She put her back in her stall. She took the halter off of the mare and put it back on the hook before taking her grooming box back to the tack room. On her way back to the stall a flake of ay came down and hit her in the shoulder. She looked up to see if someone was throwing it on purpose. There was a boy standing up in the loft and the ladder had already been put back up so he couldn’t get down. Natt jumped up and pulled the string down so the boy could climb down. She hadn’t seen him before, but she was also real new here.

Nattalia Greene
Natt pulled on the ladder with all of her might. It cam down slowly, but did come down. She held on to it with one hand while the boy climbed down it. He was kinda cute. More than any other boy that she had seen there since she had first arrived. He climb down and Natt saw that he was blushing a little bit. "Its fine," She said after he was fully down the ladder. She got a good look at him. He had a lot of tattoo's. Natt herself didn't like al the ink, but it wasn't so horrible. It was his choice after all. No matter what now, it couldn't be undone now.
"Yeah, No problem," She watched him look at his arms. He was probably thinking that she was a little crazy, everyone else did. Sky was a nice boy from what he had said already. Thought she had only been there less than five minutes she knew that he was nice. "Im Nattalia Greene, but please call me Natt." She was looking into his dark eyes when he met with hers. Before she could get a good look his eyes flickered to the ground. So he didn't like the eye contact with a girl.
