come fly down, like a singing bird,
sings your name, I am still the same.[/center]
The girls were at her aunts for the day while April worked, and thank god. Of course, April loved her babies very much and missed them terribly, but it's a bit hard grooming and working with horses for about five, six, maybe seven hours a day with two little kids running around under your feet. April smiled at the thought as she set down the basket with a variety of brushes in it. She took out a normal brush and got the dirt off of StarStruck's back, stomach, belly, and face. After it was all done, she scrapped out her hoofs quickly and went to get her tack. April was a English girl, but Star liked Western so that is what she got. Setting the saddle pad on her back lightly, she lifted the thirty pound saddle onto place on her back. With a small grunt and huff, April attached the girth and hoped that Star wouldn't puff out anymore.
After Star was done being a butt head in the ring, she went to her favorite, and last, Tactical Blues, aka Blue. He was a big huge teddy bear, and when she says huge, she means it. Blue is a 17.2 thoroughbred cross and just the best jumper and sweetest boy ever. After he was brushed, loved, and tacked in English tack April went out and planned to spend a good hour or more on him, unlike naughty Star. She smiled at his high personality and wished that he was her horse. She had no horses yet, but definitely wanted a stallion or gelding. Mares just were not for her. They did some Dressage practice together and then went over the low cross rails. He was getting hot and sweaty so she let him walk around the ring twice when she started to a posting trot and noticed a unfamiliar face walk into the ring. She smiled, waved, and started towards the person.
